Day Care Centres

For youngsters and adults after 16 years old with profound mental deficiency or multi-deficiencies. We try to contribute for a good physical, emotional and social balance of the ones with severe or deep deficiency, keeping them active and interested, promoting various kinds of playing and therapeutical activities – physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, sensorial stimulation, snoezelen (relaxing and stimulating activities).
We also promote the upkeep of the capacities of persons with bigger autonomy, interesting them in doing simple tasks.

 

Support Group for Occupation

We have occupational activities for youngsters and adults with profound or moderate deficiency, towards the total improvement of their abilities, and of which result products that we put on sale.
The autonomy, personal and social independence, the acquisition of social qualifications, the expression of the artistic potential, the sports activities, the performance of simple tasks, the quality of life and the inclusion in the social life of the community are the key-areas of our action.

 

Services

We aim for the integration in work teams of persons with moderate deficiency, although with constant need of supervision, but capable of making simple tasks, in activities such as: Blacksmith, Carpentry, Transportation, Farming and Cattle Raising, according to their abilities´ profile and interests. They benefit of the Complementary Supports they need for testing their capabilities and they interact, active and earnestly, in artistic activities - music, singing, dance, painting - privileged ways of expressing artistic intelligence.
